A MODERN MARKETING AND ADVERTISING RESOURCE
Think of FX as your experienced marketing director—without hiring one full-time.
We help decide what your business should be doing, coordinate the people and companies doing the work, evaluate new technology and keep everything moving toward the same business goals.
It's called fractional marketing leadership. You get the experience and direction you need without building an entire marketing department.
See How It WorksYour website company may be doing good work. So may your media company, social person, sales team, video producer and internal staff.
The problem begins when each piece has its own direction and the owner or another executive becomes the person trying to connect all of it.
The right resources for the job.
One experienced point of direction.
The tools didn't just get better. They changed what's possible.
WHEN I STARTED IN MEDIA
Targeting meant broad demographics. We looked for television programs, radio formats and other media most likely to attract the people an advertiser wanted to reach.
But we were still buying the entire audience and hoping enough of the right people were in it.
TODAY
Modern data and audience tools can increasingly help identify relevant consumers, households, companies and business professionals, then help determine the most efficient ways to reach them.
The audience can increasingly come first. The media decision follows.
B2C + B2B
For consumer marketing, that can mean building audiences around relevant household, behavioral, purchase and intent signals. For B2B marketing, it can mean identifying companies and professionals by factors such as industry, role, title, company and geography—whether the target is engineers, architects, HR executives, CFOs, physicians, plant managers or business owners.
Identify who matters first. Then determine where and how to reach them.
OLD TOOLS. NEW PRECISION.
What has changed is how intelligently those tools can be deployed. Better audience data can make established media more precise, while connected television, social media and digital channels give businesses additional ways to reach highly defined audiences.
WHAT THAT LOOKS LIKE TODAY
Television can increasingly be activated against more precisely defined audiences and households instead of relying only on broad programming demographics.
More than posting. Social can support audience building, targeting, retargeting, lead generation and measurable customer communication.
Tools such as Exact Audience can help build and activate more specific consumer and B2B audiences instead of beginning with a broad demographic assumption.
Tools such as Site ID and other identity technologies can, where data and permissible use allow, help turn some anonymous digital activity into richer prospect or household intelligence.
Graphics, video, voice and content that once required significant production time and expense can now be developed and tested far more efficiently.
Research, prospecting, follow-up, personalization and workflow can increasingly happen faster—while human judgment remains responsible for direction.
It used to take a bigger budget to reach more of the right people.
Modern marketing isn't about having the biggest pocketbook. It's about using the one you have more efficiently.
THE FX ROLE
Exact Audience, Site ID, CTV, social targeting, AI and automation are examples of what's possible—not a shopping list of things every business needs.
The job is to understand the objective, know what tools are available, decide which ones make sense and connect them with the marketing that already works.
SELECTED WORK
The point isn't to show how many things were produced. It's to show how the strategy changes when the problem changes.
01 · AUDIENCE STRATEGY / B2B
Purview Life helps families navigate complex care decisions. The opportunity was to identify a professional audience that could become an important source of qualified referrals: estate-planning and trust attorneys.
The work connected positioning, a purpose-built website, educational video, LinkedIn, professional outreach and referral materials around one objective: help attorneys understand when Purview could help their clients.
Awareness → Understanding → Credibility → Conversation → Referral

02 · BRAND / CREATIVE / MODERN PRODUCTION
Roofing is crowded with similar messages. Big Sky already had two things competitors couldn't manufacture: a long Oklahoma history and Gunner, the company's white Labrador.
The creative strategy leaned into both. Gunner became a recognizable brand character that could move through advertising, social media and AI-assisted video production while the company's local history reinforced trust.
Personality + Recognition + Oklahoma History + Consistent Exposure
The production method is part of the story. AI-assisted tools make recurring branded video possible with a level of speed and production efficiency that would once have made the idea impractical for many smaller advertisers.
03 · POSITIONING / EDUCATION / SALES ENABLEMENT
The challenge wasn't simply promoting another employee benefit. It was explaining how healthcare costs, long-standing tax and benefit rules, modern delivery and changing employee expectations could converge into a new employer strategy.
The answer was education first: simplify the history, explain the economics, establish credibility and only then introduce the solution.

That's the conversation we start with. Tell me a little about your business and what you're trying to accomplish.
